Foodie Media Berhad has closed its milestone first full financial year as a public-listed company with an exceptional financial performance, setting new operational and revenue benchmarks for FY2026. For the financial year ended 31 August 2026, the Group announced a robust 49.6% surge in revenue to RM55.5 million, up from RM37.1 million in the preceding year. This stellar top-line growth filtered down effectively to the bottom line, with Profit After Tax (PAT) surging 68.4% to RM15.7 million, while adjusted PAT rose 39.1% to RM16.5 million. Every single segment within the Group’s innovative Content, Creator, Commerce, and Community (“4C”) pillars contributed positively to this broad-based expansion, validating the effectiveness of its diversified business model.

A key highlight of the fiscal year was the remarkable scaling of non-content segments, with the Creator, Commerce, and Community pillars collectively expanding to account for 45.3% of total Group revenue, compared to 36.4% previously. Notably, the Community pillar experienced exponential growth surging sevenfold to RM7.1 million, propelled by the inaugural Monie Fest and an enriched events calendar. Meanwhile, the core Content pillar remained robust at RM30.4 million, driven by sustained market demand for sponsored content and targeted digital marketing campaigns.

Reflecting its strong cash-generation capabilities and commitment to shareholder returns, the Board of Directors declared a second interim dividend of 0.39 sen and a second special dividend of 0.61 sen per share. This brings the cumulative total dividend payout for FY2026 to an impressive 1.53 sen per share, amounting to approximately RM13.6 million. This generous distribution translates to a payout ratio of 86.7% of the year’s profit attributable to owners and offers an attractive dividend yield of 5.7%, based on the closing share price of RM0.27 as of 21 October 2026.

Foodie Media enters FY2027 from an enviable financial position, underpinned by a solid net cash standing of RM52.7 million (excluding lease liabilities) and robust operating cash flow conversion of 92.5%. With its strategic expansion fully funded by initial public offering (IPO) proceeds and internal cash generation, the Group is exceptionally well-positioned to maintain its growth trajectory. Looking ahead, Chief Executive Officer Nicholas Lim Pinn Yang noted that the company remains highly optimistic. Supported by the ongoing structural migration of advertising budgets from traditional media to digital and social ecosystems, Foodie Media will continue scaling its production capabilities, expanding its KOL network, and deepening its 4C offerings to solidify its position as Southeast Asia’s premier attention infrastructure.
