KUALA LUMPUR, 25 September 2026 — Beloved box-office hit Dear You (给阿嬷的情书) is making its return this Mid-Autumn Festival with a brand-new epilogue titled The Sea Between Us (海的两端), once again featuring Wang Yantong as the lead character, Zheng Musheng. The new story takes audiences on another emotional journey while showcasing the imaging capabilities of the yet-to-be-launched HONOR Magic9 Pro Max, with the entire epilogue filmed using the smartphone.

Set against the backdrop of Mid-Autumn, The Sea Between Us continues the film’s heartfelt exploration of love, distance and longing across generations. The partnership brings ARRI’s expertise in cinematic colour science to smartphone photography and videography, aiming to recreate the visual characteristics associated with the big screen.

The cinematic visual language is reflected through warm and natural skin tones, rich layers of light and shadow, and carefully balanced highlights and darker areas. These elements help enhance the emotional quality of each scene while preserving the natural atmosphere of the story.
